When you are just starting out or already own a small business, having proper time management is important. When you are no longer set up in a traditional office, working in a serviced office and co-working will bring in a different set of pressure. 1. Priority Scheduling
Your checklist should not only compromise of things that needed to be done but should also includes realistic and valuable goals. Be it a lunch date or a conference call, it is good to be prepared in advanced. Once you have an idea in mind, make sure to write it down to avoid confusion and repetition. Do not worry about the details, as long as you have the fundamental key points, it would help you stay true to your vision. In any conversation, things may not always go according to plan, but with an idea in mind, it is enough to steer you in the right direction.

Being an entrepreneur or a business owner, you know that your job will never be done. Even with all the time management you have enforced, it is impossible to tackle the pile of work on your desk in one day. This is how you can work smart and not hard. By pushing yourself further, you are more likely to feel lethargic and distracted. Learn to take control and separate your personal and business life altogether. Try taking up an outdoor course, a family vacation or play with your pet. Take this time to reflect and identify your weakest moments and improve on it.
